Project Promise has received a big cash injection following the auction of an American style barn, thanks to The Barn Company.
Project Promise is a project being led by the Northland Community Foundation, who are hoping to raise $3 million to build a cancer facility for Northland.
The barn was been generously donated by The Barn Company, with numerous local suppliers also backing the cause. The barn was auctioned at the end of March, raising $27,000 for Project Promise.
Local owner of The Barn Company, Wayne Hill, says donating the barn was a great way to be able to give something back to the community.
